The Parish Council is happy to announce that a new species of disease-free Elm tree has been donated to the village by Hilliers Nurseries. The tree will be planted to mark the Coronation of King Charles III and to replace the old Elm tree that stood outside the church for several hundred years.

There will be a small ceremony on Saturday 2 December at 1:30pm outside Croughton Church, when the new tree will be planted close to the spot of the original Elm, to be followed by refreshments in the Church.

Everyone is welcome to come along.
